Senior OH&S Advisor – Medium Density

Mirrastone is Victoria’s leading residential builder by volume and one of Australia’s largest building groups. With a strong pipeline of medium density projects across Melbourne, we are continuing to invest in strengthening our on-site safety leadership.

We are seeking a high-calibre Senior OH&S Advisor who thrives in live construction environments and knows how to influence outcomes — not just complete paperwork.

This is a hands-on role embedded in our medium density projects (townhouses and multi-unit developments), working directly with Construction Managers and Site Supervisors to maintain high safety standards across multiple active sites.

The Role

Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will:

• Maintain a strong on-site presence across active projects

• Proactively identify hazards and enforce high-risk controls

• Review and manage SWMS compliance

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis

• Hold subcontractors accountable to Mirrastone standards

• Coach supervisors to take ownership of safety performance

• Support WorkSafe interactions where required

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our safety systems

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ construction OH&S experience

• Strong exposure to medium density or commercial builds

• Deep understanding of Victorian OHS legislation

• Ability to influence supervisors and subcontractors confidently

• Strong investigation and risk management capability

• High standards and low tolerance for shortcuts

Essential:

• Cert IV in WHS

• Construction White Card

• Current Driver’s Licence

Diploma or tertiary safety qualifications highly regarded.

The Package

$90,000 - $120,000 + Super + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
Salary reflective of experience and capability.
