HR Systems Specialist / Employment Hero Specialist

Contract or 12-Month Fixed Term

Mirrastone has recently launched Employment Hero (Platinum), and we’re looking for someone practical and experienced to help us build it out properly.

We want someone who knows Employment Hero well, not just as a user, but someone who has configured modules, built forms and templates, and understands how to make the system work day-to-day for HR teams, managers, and employees.

This role is about rolling up your sleeves and getting the platform fully set up and functioning efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Reviewing our current Employment Hero setup and identifying gaps

• Building and configuring modules across the Platinum package

• Creating contracts, letter templates, and document libraries

• Setting up onboarding workflows and checklists

• Building custom forms and approval workflows

• Assisting with performance review setup

• Configuring policies and acknowledgements

• Supporting reporting and basic dashboard setup

• Training HR and managers on how to use the system effectively

• Providing ongoing system support and troubleshooting

This is a hands-on role focused on implementation, configuration, and optimisation, not strategy or transformation.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience working in Employment Hero (ideally Platinum)

• Experience configuring modules, not just using them

• Strong attention to detail and process thinking

• Solid understanding of Australian employment documentation and compliance basics

• Confidence working independently and managing your own workflow

• Ability to explain system functionality clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Experience in complex/multi-entity environments will be highly regarded.
